AFFILIATE PROGRAM TERMS
Last Updated: September 13, 2026
LET’S GROW PADDLEPOD TOGETHER.
We built PaddlePod around a simple idea: your ball has a spot.
Our Affiliate Program gives creators, players, coaches, clubs, and other PaddlePod supporters an opportunity to share PaddlePod, give their audience a discount, and earn commissions on qualifying sales they refer.
We want to keep the program simple, fair, and transparent. These Affiliate Program Terms (“Affiliate Terms”) explain the rules for participating in the PaddlePod Affiliate Program.
By applying to, joining, or participating in the PaddlePod Affiliate Program, you agree to these Affiliate Terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY & ACCEPTANCE
Participation in the PaddlePod Affiliate Program is subject to approval.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. PaddlePod may approve or reject applications at its discretion.
Applicants must provide accurate and complete information and keep their affiliate account information current.
Unless otherwise approved by PaddlePod, participants must be at least 18 years old. Applicants under 18 may participate only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian and subject to any additional requirements established by PaddlePod.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove an affiliate from the program in accordance with these Affiliate Terms.
2. HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
Approved affiliates may receive a unique coupon code, referral link, or both.
Our standard affiliate offer provides:
Customer Discount: 10% off eligible purchases
Affiliate Commission: 10% of qualifying referred sales
Referral Cookie Window: 30 days
Commission Holding Period: 40 days from the qualifying purchase
Minimum Payout: $25 in eligible commissions
When a qualifying purchase is properly attributed to an affiliate, commission will be recorded in the affiliate’s account.
Referral tracking may use cookies and similar technologies. Affiliate coupon codes provide an additional method of attributing purchases.
Not every website visit, referral, or order will necessarily qualify for commission.
3. COMMISSION RATE
Approved PaddlePod affiliates earn a 10% commission on qualifying sales attributed to their approved affiliate coupon code or referral link.
Commission is calculated on the eligible merchandise amount actually paid after applicable discounts and excludes shipping charges, taxes, refunds, credits, and other non-product charges.
For example, if a customer receives a 10% affiliate discount, the affiliate commission is calculated using the discounted eligible merchandise amount.
PaddlePod may occasionally offer special commission rates, bonuses, or promotional incentives. Any special terms will be communicated to the affected affiliates.
4. QUALIFYING SALES
Commission is earned only on eligible, completed purchases properly attributed to the affiliate through an approved referral method.
An order may not qualify for commission if it is:
- Cancelled
- Refunded or returned
- Charged back or successfully disputed
- Fraudulent or reasonably suspected of fraud
- Made using an unauthorized promotion
- Generated through prohibited affiliate activity
- An improper self-referral
- Otherwise determined to be ineligible under these Affiliate Terms
If commission has already been credited for an order that later becomes ineligible, PaddlePod may reverse the commission.
5. AFFILIATE COUPON CODES
Approved affiliates will generally receive a unique coupon code providing customers with 10% off eligible PaddlePod purchases.
For example, an affiliate may receive a personalized code such as MIKE10.
Affiliate coupon codes are intended to help affiliates promote PaddlePod to genuine prospective customers.
Affiliates may share their approved codes through appropriate channels such as social media, websites, videos, blogs, email audiences, pickleball communities, clubs, events, or in-person recommendations.
Affiliates may not alter, duplicate, misrepresent, or create unauthorized PaddlePod coupon codes or discounts.
Affiliate codes may not be submitted to coupon aggregation, deal, discount, or coupon websites without prior written approval from PaddlePod.
PaddlePod may modify, disable, replace, or discontinue an affiliate coupon code when reasonably necessary.
6. REFERRAL LINKS & 30-DAY COOKIE WINDOW
Approved affiliates may also receive unique referral links.
When someone visits the PaddlePod website through an affiliate’s referral link, affiliate tracking technology may place a cookie in that visitor’s browser.
The PaddlePod Affiliate Program uses a 30-day referral cookie window.
This means that a qualifying purchase completed within 30 days of the tracked referral may be attributed to the affiliate, subject to our attribution rules and the customer’s browser and privacy settings.
For example, if someone clicks an affiliate’s PaddlePod referral link but doesn’t purchase that day, the affiliate may still receive credit if that customer returns and completes a qualifying purchase within the 30-day cookie window.
Cookies may be blocked, deleted, or otherwise unavailable. Customers may also change browsers or devices. PaddlePod therefore cannot guarantee that every referral will be successfully tracked.
Use of an approved affiliate coupon code may provide an additional method of identifying the referring affiliate.
PaddlePod’s affiliate tracking and order records will be used to determine attribution and commissions, subject to correction of technical or administrative errors.
7. SELF-REFERRALS
Affiliate codes and referral links are intended to generate genuine referred customer sales.
Unless specifically authorized by PaddlePod, affiliates may not earn commissions on their own purchases or intentionally structure transactions for themselves, household members, or others primarily for the purpose of generating affiliate commissions.
PaddlePod may reject or reverse commissions reasonably determined to result from improper self-referral activity.
8. 40-DAY COMMISSION HOLDING PERIOD
Affiliate commissions are subject to a 40-day holding period from the date of the qualifying purchase before becoming eligible for payout.
The 40-day period is separate from the 30-day affiliate cookie window.
The 30-day cookie window determines how long an affiliate referral may remain eligible for attribution.
The 40-day holding period determines when commission from a completed qualifying purchase becomes eligible to be paid.
The holding period allows PaddlePod’s 30-day customer return period to expire, followed by additional processing time for returns, refunds, payment disputes, fraud reviews, or other order adjustments.
For example, if an eligible customer purchases on October 1, the associated affiliate commission becomes eligible for payout after the applicable 40-day holding period, provided the order remains eligible.
9. PAYOUTS & MINIMUM PAYOUT
Affiliates must accumulate at least $25 in eligible commissions before receiving a payout.
If an affiliate’s eligible balance is below $25, the balance will remain in the affiliate’s account and carry forward until the minimum payout threshold is reached.
Only commissions that have completed the 40-day holding period count toward the affiliate’s eligible payout balance.
Payouts will be made using payment methods supported by PaddlePod and communicated to approved affiliates.
Affiliates are responsible for providing complete and accurate payment information.
PaddlePod may withhold or delay payment when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, returns, chargebacks, program violations, incorrect payment information, or other legitimate payment issues.
Affiliates are responsible for applicable taxes, reporting requirements, transaction fees, or other obligations associated with their affiliate earnings. PaddlePod may request tax documentation when required by law.
10. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CHARGEBACKS
PaddlePod offers customers a 30-day return period in accordance with our Return Policy.
If an order associated with an affiliate is returned, refunded, cancelled, charged back, or otherwise determined to be ineligible, the corresponding commission may be cancelled or reversed.
The 40-day commission holding period is intended in part to reduce the likelihood of commissions being paid before the customer’s return period has expired.
If an ineligible commission has already been paid, PaddlePod may deduct the corresponding amount from future affiliate earnings or seek repayment when appropriate.
11. DISCLOSING YOUR AFFILIATE RELATIONSHIP
Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with PaddlePod whenever required by applicable law or advertising guidelines.
If you may earn money when someone purchases through your link or coupon code, consumers should be able to easily understand that relationship.
An appropriate disclosure might say:
“I earn a commission from purchases made using my PaddlePod link or code.”
or:
“PaddlePod affiliate — I may earn a commission if you purchase using my code.”
Disclosures should be clear, conspicuous, and placed where consumers are likely to see and understand them.
Affiliates are responsible for complying with applicable endorsement, advertising, and disclosure requirements, including applicable Federal Trade Commission requirements.
12. HONEST PROMOTION
Affiliates must not make false, deceptive, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about PaddlePod or its products.
You are welcome to share genuine opinions and experiences, but you may not misrepresent product features, pricing, availability, discounts, guarantees, performance, or other information.
Affiliates may not claim PaddlePod has approved or endorsed a statement unless we actually have.
13. PAID ADVERTISING
Affiliates may not bid on or purchase search advertising using PaddlePod’s brand name, product names, domain name, or confusingly similar terms without prior written permission.
This includes terms such as PaddlePod, Paddle Pod, getpaddlepod, getpaddlepod.com, and intentional misspellings or variations designed to capture PaddlePod-branded searches.
Affiliates may not create advertisements that impersonate PaddlePod or reasonably cause consumers to believe an affiliate advertisement was published directly by PaddlePod.
Any authorized paid advertising must comply with applicable advertising-platform policies and these Affiliate Terms.
14. SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT
We encourage affiliates to share PaddlePod through social media, videos, reviews, blogs, pickleball communities, clubs, events, and other appropriate channels.
Affiliates may use PaddlePod-approved product images, logos, information, links, and other promotional materials provided for affiliate use.
Affiliate content associated with PaddlePod must not contain unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate material.
Affiliates may not falsely represent themselves as employees, owners, official representatives, or authorized spokespersons of PaddlePod.
15. EMAIL, SPAM & DIRECT MESSAGING
Affiliates may promote PaddlePod to audiences they have legitimately developed and have permission to contact.
Affiliates may not engage in unsolicited bulk email, spam, automated mass messaging, deceptive direct messaging, or communications that violate applicable laws or platform rules.
We want PaddlePod shared with people who might actually want one—not blasted into every inbox on the internet.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & BRAND USE
Participation in the Affiliate Program does not transfer ownership of PaddlePod intellectual property to an affiliate.
Approved affiliates receive limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to use PaddlePod-approved names, logos, product images, links, and promotional materials solely for promoting PaddlePod while participating in the program.
Affiliates may not materially alter PaddlePod logos or branding, register domain names or social media accounts containing PaddlePod branding, manufacture PaddlePod-branded merchandise, or represent themselves as PaddlePod without written authorization.
All rights not expressly granted remain with PaddlePod.
17. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Affiliate participation may be suspended or terminated for activities including:
- Fraudulent referrals or fake orders
- Misleading advertising
- Unauthorized coupon distribution
- Coupon-site submissions without approval
- Cookie stuffing
- Spam
- Trademark abuse
- Impersonating PaddlePod
- Manipulating affiliate tracking
- Improper self-referrals
- Artificially generating clicks, referrals, or commissions
- Using bots, scripts, forced clicks, deceptive redirects, or similar techniques
PaddlePod may investigate suspicious activity and temporarily withhold associated commissions while an investigation is conducted.
18. TERMINATION
Either PaddlePod or the affiliate may end the affiliate relationship at any time.
PaddlePod may immediately suspend or terminate an affiliate for fraud, abuse, violation of these Affiliate Terms, unlawful activity, or conduct reasonably likely to materially harm PaddlePod or its reputation.
Upon termination, the affiliate must stop representing themselves as a PaddlePod affiliate and discontinue unauthorized use of PaddlePod affiliate materials.
Valid commissions earned before termination may remain payable after completing the applicable 40-day holding period and reaching the $25 minimum payout, subject to these Affiliate Terms.
Commissions associated with fraud, prohibited conduct, or other violations may be forfeited where permitted by law.
19. INDEPENDENT RELATIONSHIP
Participation in the PaddlePod Affiliate Program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, franchise, agency, or similar relationship between PaddlePod and an affiliate.
Affiliates participate independently and are responsible for how and where they promote their affiliate links and codes.
Affiliates do not have authority to enter into agreements, make commitments, incur obligations, or make representations on behalf of PaddlePod.
20. PROGRAM CHANGES
PaddlePod may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Affiliate Program or these Affiliate Terms.
When appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes affecting existing affiliates.
Changes to commission rates or other material economic terms will apply prospectively and will not reduce commissions already validly earned before the applicable change.
Continued participation after updated Affiliate Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those updated terms.
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PaddlePod will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Affiliate Program.
Participation does not guarantee any particular amount of traffic, sales, referrals, commissions, or income.
PaddlePod also cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of affiliate tracking technology, websites, plugins, payment systems, or other third-party services.
22. PRIVACY
Information collected in connection with the PaddlePod Affiliate Program will be handled in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy and applicable law.
Affiliate referral tracking may involve cookies and similar technologies as described in that policy.
23. GOVERNING LAW
These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
